So Far…

Synopsis

After growing up knowing almost nothing about his mother, a son returns to Philadelphia to reconstruct her life thirty years after her death. Through conversations, memories, and forgotten histories, Finding Kim Robinson explores how we come to understand the people we’ve lost and ourselves.

Our Team

Chuck Sipps

Chuck Sipps is a writer, director, improviser, and game master interested in the intersection of storytelling, play, and personal truth. His work often combines humor and sincerity to explore identity, failure, and the communities we build along the way.

Jordan Spayd

Jordan Spayd is a filmmaker and educator with a passion for storytelling. He enjoys working as a Writer/Director and Cinematographer. Much of his work focuses on challenging traditional expectations of men in western society from a radically feminist perspective.

Kat Frazier

As a visual artist, Kat’s work roots itself in the art of scrap. She utilizes mediums such as experimental film, and creating spaces with sculpture and 35mm film. Within any medium, she have a focus on the act of collection. Her photos are framed with train tickets, exposure sheets, and letters from friends. Her films are collections of moments, memories, and feelings seen through a physical lens. Themes such as women's rights, queerness, human connection,  and femininity are where she feels most grounded. Her main goal with her art is to translate her experiences in life into something both tangible, and relatable for others.

Deric Bucher

Director of Photography

Cinematographer and MFA graduate of Ohio University with over 60 credits across the camera, grip, and electric departments, including work as Director of Photography on narrative shorts, documentary, commercial work, and feature second-unit productions. Experienced leading camera and lighting teams from prep through delivery on digital cinema platforms including Red, Arri, Blackmagic, and Sony. Treats the camera as a participant in the scene, working closely with directors to build a visual approach specific to each story.
